What is RT-6? Is that the same as SUTA?
Yep, basically. RT-6 is Florida’s quarterly unemployment tax report for employers. A lot of people just call it SUTA. Same form, different nickname.
What happens if I’m late?
Florida usually adds $25 every 30 days the return is late, up to $300 per return. That’s why catching up sooner is cheaper than waiting around.
I had no employees / $0 wages. Do I still file?
Often yes, if your still registered as an employer. Zero-wage RT-6 filings are super common. We do those all the time.
Can you file several late quarters at once?
Yeah. That’s what most people need honestly. Tell us how many quarters and we’ll quote a clear total.
Do you only help Florida businesses?
Yes. Florida RT-6 / SUTA only. Keeping it narrow helps us not mess this up.
What’s a DR-835 / Power of Attorney?
Short form that lets us file for you with the state. If we need it, we’ll send it and tell you where to sign. Nothing gets filed without your okay.
Do I need to send documents right away?
Nope. Start with the form on this site. After we connect we’ll give you a secure way to share payroll info if we need it.
Are you a law firm or CPA firm?
No. We’re a filing service for Florida RT-6 / SUTA. We don’t give legal or CPA advice. Need that, talk to a licensed pro.
