Florida RT-6 deadlines and late penalties

When Florida RT-6 / SUTA returns are due and what the late filing penalty looks like.

Quick reference, cause nobody memorizes this stuff.

Florida RT-6 (SUTA) is quarterly. Rough due dates:

Q1 (Jan–Mar): due April 30 Q2 (Apr–Jun): due July 31 Q3 (Jul–Sep): due October 31 Q4 (Oct–Dec): due January 31

If a due date lands on a weekend or holiday, it usually rolls, but don’t bank your whole plan on that. File early when you can.

Miss the deadline and late fees start. Florida’s common late-filing penalty is $25 for each 30-day stretch (or part of one), up to $300 per return. Interest and other amounts can show up too depending on what you owe.

One late quarter hurts. Four late quarters hurts alot more. That’s why we push people to catch up instead of “dealing with it later.”

Need the current quarter filed on time, or a pile of old ones cleaned up? That’s literally what we do. Hit get started and tell us where your at.

Need this handled for you?

Tell us how many quarters your behind on. We’ll quote it clear and file the RT-6 / SUTA returns.
